🧩 Simulation Overview
This scenario contents a first interview of a patient with Parkinson’s disease for OT assessment. The scenario includes expected learning outcomes, scenario flow with expected actions and all details in regard to simulation scenario.

📦 Actions and Materials

Testing video or audio equipment if digital tools are used.  Camera, microphone, Zoom/Teams platform. 
Reviewing the scenario with the standardized client.  Patient case details, role brief for standardized client. 
Briefing students on their roles and objectives.  Scenario outline, list of learning objectives, and assessment sheets. 
Observing and facilitating during the simulation to ensure flow.  A printed observation checklist.

Personal factors 

The client has been quite active in the past.  

He worked as a carpenter for 15 years and then engaged in mobile book selling for 20 years. Due to his carpentry background, he currently enjoys working with wood.  

He retired at the age of 64 and transitioned to a more sedentary lifestyle after retirement, rarely leaving home except to attend prayer. Up until three years ago, he had no significant issues.
